Knutpunkt Mölndalsbro won the Best Design of the Year 2004 Sweden competition

Mölndals Centrum, is the very centre of the City of Mölndal with extremely good accessibility along the main highway E6, and with the communer place Knutpunkt Mölndalsbro (built 2001-2003 by Wingårdh Arkitektkontor AB). Appr 3,5 millio passangers pass by Knutpunkt Mölndalsbro annually.

Göteborgs City is 10 minutes by car and buss and can also be reached by tram and the local train.

The shopping area is appr. 38 000 m2 with 80 different acitvities being present tar ca 10 minuter och med spårvagn och buss något längre tid.

The 'Vision Mölndals Centrum' is a complex development plan for developing the city centre of the 21st century in Mölndal. The project is also co-financed by the Interreg IIIB North Sea program project Vitalizing City Centres through Integrated Spatial Planning (VISP) running year 2004-2007.
