Kortrijk 2007 Review : Meesterproef 2007. december 17. 15:51  De Meesterproef 2007 ( Master Examination 2007 ) is an initiative of the Flemish Buildingmaster to give young architects the chance to work in gouvernment assignments and to get to know the gouvernment as contractor.This year's edition runs in the City of Kortrijk.
Visit of a delegation of Sweden to Kortrijk 2007. április 26. 16:12  On the 19th of April, a large delegation of  30 representatives from the adult education sector in Sweden came on a study trip to Kortrijk. The City of Kortrijk, the Public Centre of Social Welfare and the Library presented the local LLL-results of the VISP project and after some site seeing also local organisations and adult education institutes presented their school and way of working.
Kortrijk on the rise 2007. április 10. 8:17  This week, the City Monitor reveiled in its second edition the results of 2006. The City Monitor is an assignment of the Flemish government to the University of Gent, in order to improve the liveability of cities.
Start of the lay of the director's garden 2007. február 23. 10:53   In March, after the winter stop, the lay of the director's garden of the V-Tex gatebuilding will start.Up to now, the garden has been maintained and cleaned up as it was and used for neighbourhood activities like a summer brunch or the theatre play in open air.

Kortrijk, City of Taste 2007 2007. április 5. 13:57 The Flemish Minister of Culture gave the title of City of Taste 2007 to the City of Kortrijk. This means Kortrijk is host for the Week of Taste 2007 and organises the closing event on the 24th of November.
...And up to Kortrijk 2007. február 23. 10:20  After the visit to Enschede, the filmcrew arrived in Kortrijk to shoot the necessary film material about the local projects. On the agenda were : visit to the gate building with its various activities ( sport school, circus school, interview with the theatre association, recording of the CD of the L'Orchestre International du Vetex ), shooting at the business centre and the recording of the statement of the Mayor and some explanation about the project of the new library.

Also 50 new computers for free internet use will be installed.
