The WRC Ifold Onlus was founded by a group of women in 1986 and since then has been working on education, professional training, guidance and research, with a gender perspective.
In it's history the Ifold Onlus carried out also many activities to enhance women's entrepreneurship, such as the project: "Research on women's entrepreneurship and its perspectives of development in Sardinia" (1999).
Many professional training courses, in the framework of EEC NOW initiative, that promoted creation of innovative female business on different fields like farm vacation, organic agriculture, cultural and environment friendly tourism;
The international project RECIFE, EEC RECITE initiative, for the creation of a European network of Women Resources Centres. Ifold has been part of different Italian and European network working on women's guidance, gender oriented actions, and labour market policies, as Iris, EWA, CORA, EUDIF.
